Men of the Year - True Love and False Idols

Finally, a fashion post all about the guys! Pay attention, dudes...and ladies who want their man to be all lookin' good and stuff.

The latest trend is all about taking if from the streets. We've seen a growing number of design houses begin to incorporate graffiti artwork, but none with the authenticity and artistic flair of True Love & False Idols.

"We hope you like our line. We love making it. Our inspiration is our lives, our friends, our music and cities," say Alex and Alex, the men behind the brand. One is a straightedge punk kid from the O.C.; the other an ex graffiti artist from Venice.

They got together back in 2005 after working together at another fashion line. The two Alex's fused their diverse backgrounds into a street couture collection that blends punk rock, hip hop, graffiti and Southern California influences to create art-driven designs for men that don't look all sissified.

They are perhaps best known for their embroidered cashmere hoodies and their intricate graphic tees, which are available on their web site trueloveandfalseidols.com and in stores across the good 'ol US of A.

You may have already spotted TLFI on mega-hit shows like American Idol, The Hills and America's Next Top Model, or on the back of a few of the most fashionable guys in the game like Jamie Foxx, T.I., Sean Paul and Ryan Seacrest. The next hot guy sporting TLFI should be you {or your boyfriend}.
